Blackcelebritygiving.com has started their first award ceremony entitled "The Black Man Can Awards". This inaugural presentation of awards will help celebrate the accomplishments of those who have shown diverse ways of promoting positivity in each one's community and professional ranks. The categories range from media, politics, medicine, law, education and more. There are also categories for young men and youth such as Campus Kings and Boys II Men.

I personally would like to encourage voting for Pervis Taylor who is a past guest of Soul Exchange. He is an author/life coach/consultant that is listed in the media/journalist category. He has recently published a book of meditation and life lessons geared toward the youth titled "Pervis Principles: Volume 1" which can be found at www.pervistaylor.com.
