Mastermind JAPAN x Nike Dunk Premium Hi MMJ
mastermind JAPAN designer, Masaaki Honma,
is undoubtedly pulling all of the strings before he closes the curtain
on his successful brand next year. With only few months to go until the
completion of the Japanese label, Honma welcomes Nike
into the mix. Most likely, this will be the last time these iconic
companies will work together, making these sneakers highly collectible.
Honma chose the classic Dunk Hi silhouette, converting the basketball
shoes into premium footwear. Both styles are constructed from top grade
leather, but in particular, the all black version uses polished panache
leather. mastermind JAPAN logo is visible on the heel and outsole of the
shoes. Limited quantities will be on sale at Dover Street Market Ginza, Isetan Men’s Shinjuku, and Hankyu Men’s Osaka from this Saturday, December 8.\

issued ones. Kept to Melton Wool construct, designers at the Japanese
label re-worked the classic outerwear with many essential details. Some
are direct replicas from the original, like is anchor embellished
buttons. Others, like the screen printed interior lining and corduroy
lined hand-warming pockets, are not. Cut to a more fitted silhouette,
each, like the original, also features a mil-spec name tag on the
