Saturday Night Live ads Leslie Jones as an official new cast member

"Saturday Night Live" has promoted writer and sometimes "Weekend Update" guest Leslie Jones to a cast member. NBC confirmed the news to HuffPost Entertainment after Deadline.com broke the story. Jones and the show tweeted their excitement.  Jones has been a staff writer on the show since early 2014 and was one of 12 finalists for a cast spot that ended up going to Sasheer Zamata last year. Since joining "SNL," she's appeared in memorable "Weekend Update" segments, including a controversial bit on slavery last May. She'll start as a cast member this week, on Oct. 25 when Jim Carrey hosts. Jones has also appeared in "The League," "Workaholics" and "Top Five," which comes out in December.

"SNL" Season 40 began just a few weeks ago and added two new cast members, Pete Davidson and Michael Che, who was promoted from writer to "Weekend Update" anchor.

Black Enterprise Magazine Interview at The Breakfast Club Power 105.1

Alfred Edmonds and Sirita Wright of Black Enterprise magazine visited Power 105.1 fm in NYC to do an interview with the infamous Breakfast Club.  The information given during this interview was wealth itself.  I like the fact that they gave prime examples of african-american men and women who are billionaires and owners of top influential companies that you may have never heard of. The youth of today need to seek out more publications such as Black Enterprise to outweigh their belief that the only way to prosper is to become an athlete or rapper and to show them that there are other job markets to become successful in. Watch for great info and of course the usual shenanigans of the Breakfast Club crew!

Happy Friday, "Murder" lovers: "How To Get Away With Murder" has gotten a full season order from ABC.
The Shonda Rhimes-produced drama will now officially air 15-episodes. According to Deadline, the smaller order (a typical full season would be 22-episodes) comes from star Viola Davis' deal with the network, which intends to leave time for her to pursue feature projects. Such arrangements are common for film stars attached to small screen series.
Since its first episode, "Murder" has been a huge ratings success. It is the biggest 10 p.m. drama debut for Adults 18-49 in two years.
Listen closely, and you can hear the sounds of millions of Thursday night calendars being cleared.
